4Understanding the importance of the documentation from the perspective of quality management
5Understanding the structural specifications and the techniques used in measuring and developing quality
6Understanding the idealogical systems applied in quality development

• Basic definitions on quality, the dimensions of quality, quality characteristics, design quality, quality of conformity • The historical development of quality control activities, the development of total quality concept • The steps in the instalation of the quality assurance system, Total Quality Management- concepts and applications, quality cycles, • ISO 9000 quality system standards • Quality Managent System - Installation, quality policy, documentation, Quality Handbook • Quality plans, quality registries, quality costs, incentives for quality, internal quality inspection • Techniques used in statistical quality control
