Objectives of the Course
In the concept of that course every stage of data collection, analysis, assessment, mapping and preparation of report relating to urban structure analysis is aimed. Applications in question are performed as small scale project choosing for every year separately.

1Recognition and comprehension of methods and applications used urban researches.
2To be able to analysis and conceive reciprocal relations between urban identity’s elements and urban environment
3To be able to analysis data gathered from city centered fieldworks and insert them into program.
4To be able to prepare scientific report, interpret fieldwork’s data and analysis them via supporting thematic maps.

Urban structure analysis methods. Data, techniques and analysis; Human ecology and urban geography; Urban social structure: data collection and analysis techniques; Urban structure analysis: urban land use; Economic structure analysis in cities; Applied urban researches in case of İzmir Metropolitan area etc.
