Objectives of the Course
In this course, teaching the introducing and developments of seafood sector in the world and Turkey is aimed. The targets of the course include understanding the sectoral prolems and developing the solution offerings, presenting the working places of the graduated students, learning the information about production, consumption, employment, import and export at fisheries, industry and aquaculture sectors. Also graduated students’ helping to the development of the sector is aimed.

1Learning information about fisheries, industry and aquaculture sectors
2 Understanding the relation of the seafood sector with the other sectors.
3Getting the ability of making the futuristic forecasts and assessing the situations about production, consumption, employment, import and export at fisheries subsector.
4 Understanding the sectoral prolems and developing the solution offerings
5Learning information about associations and institutions of Turkish fisheries sector, related universities, research institutes, public bodies and non-governmental organizations and maintaining an opinion about the working opportunity after graduation.
