Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students , to teach culture of the freshwater fish species which are not farmed intensively, their culture conditions, production techniques and necessary infrastructure for them.

Learning Outcomes
1To be able to establish interest between alternative cold water fish s water demands and water sources.
2To be able to list necessary technical specifications to produce the juveniles of alternative cold water fish
3To be able to compare hybrid striped bass, Esox (pike) and zander culture.
4To be able to explain the culture of catfish with different methods.
5To be able to design the catfish culture in the suitable water conditions.
6To be able to explain the productions of mullets and tilapia
7To be able to use of Tench, Shabbout fish, Grass carp in the suitable water conditions.
8To be able to practice the sturgeon culture

Course Contents
Includes the uses of all culture technics and infrastructure elements of the alternative freshwater fish species, that are not commercial but are candidate, cultivation from broodstock to portion size.
