Course Contents
Concepts used in statistics, the organization of the data collected, and the prevalence of central measures, concept of probability, binomial, Poisson and normal distributions, sampling distributions, parametric and nonparametric tests, regression and correlation analysis.

2Arrangement of data: frequency tables and graphs
3Position measurements in quantitative and qualitative data.
4Quantitative and qualitative measures of changes in the data.
5Probability and probability distributions, Binomial and Poisson distribution.
6Normal distribution and properties
7MID-TERM EXAM
8Sampling distributions.
9Estimation, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals for the average population.
10The confidence intervals of the mean difference of two population and hypothesis testing.
11Percentage of population to the percentage difference between the two populations the confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
12Chi-square analysis, analysis of cross tables
13Simple linear regression model, hypothesis testing and estimation of population parameters, Correlation analysis.
14Analysis of variance (ANOVA).
15Nonparametric methods, and life science applications.
16FINAL EXAM
