Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is understanding of required technical properties, simple geodesy, using of map, description of vertical and horizontals heights around the earth for aquacultural operations in the natural area. In terms of schedule of this course, measurement science, units and evaluation of these properties will be presented.

1Main principles of measurement science and integration of them with the other aquatic sciences
2Application of main physics rules during the preparation stage of project
3Understanding and integration of aquaculture practices with main principles of measurement science
4Understanding of interactions of technical properties with the other naval sciences and applications
5Measurement of velocity and flow rate in inland and sea waters, establishment of pumping station and preparation of aquacultural projects
6Solution of encountered technical problems by using of the measurements science

Historical outline and subject of measurement science, units, time units, examination and reading of map, earth formation, simple measurement devices, description of straight line, making of vertical line and length measurement, errors, scales and areas of usage, methods for calculation of fields, types of planimeter, methods for height measurement, devices and equipments, point, profile and surface surveying, plans and devices of levelling, modern measurement devices and equipments, utilization of remote sensing, methods for flow rate calculation, principles of hydraulic.
