Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to provide the students to recognize the pests and diseases of ornamental plants; to comprehend the symptoms and damage occurrence in/on the effected plants, comparison the common control methods for disease and pest management.

1Identify the pest and disease of ornamentals and comprehend its potential in agricultural production
2Comprehend and identify the ornamental disease symptoms and control methods according to the host plants,
3Comprehend the occurrence cases according to the plant phenology and the plant parts damaged in/on plant, the damages and the economical importance of the ornamental plant’s pests,
4Organize the report or suggestion on the decision related with solution of the problems in respect to the economically important ornamental plant’s pests before or during the agricultural production,
5Design the reports or projects related with the subject, and evaluate these.
