Objectives of the Course
This course aims to teach students the emergence of sports, its development and transformations from that time to this day and the relationship between these development and tranformations and social life and the sociological foundations backing this process.

1Recognizing the fuctional role of sports in social life in a sociological manner.
2Scrutinizing the factors underlying the role of sports in different cultures.
3To learn the theories and techniques in order to handle sports sociologically
4To evaluate the role of sports ,as a life style, in the identity acquisition processes.
5. To investigate the effects of sports’ development and transformation in particular relation to media on social life.
