Objectives of the Course
At the end of the course the students will be able to; have knowledge about the structure and function of Turkish National educational system , analyze different countries' educational systems through investigating various aspects of them, make comparions between Turkish educational system and other countries’ systems, and analyse similarities and differences between them.

Comparison of different countries’ educational systems, comparison of educational stakeholders’ different approaches, developments and problems, critical approach, post-structuralism, post-modernism, environmentalist and feminist approaches, comparison of course contents, books, teachers and school buildings, globalization and education, gender in education, education and development, equity in education, multicultural discussion in education, change and reform in education, financing, planning and specialization of education, formal education, higher education, educational technology, national and international studies related to the comparative studies, the role of government and civil associations on education, the investigation of data obtained from OECD, World Bank, UNDP, UNESCO, the investigation of definite journals.
