Course Contents
1 – Importance of start-up of which expenditures should be included into feasibility studies. 2 – Close links of start-up with license, know how, process design (basic engineering), detailed engineering, procurement and construction contracts. 3 – Start-up steps, programming (time vise and monetary vise), forming information centre, settinh up policies to form start-up team. 4 – How to prepare check lists for “mechanical completion”, preparing of pressure testing and importance of P&I drawings in these activities. 5 – Starting-up utilities and line cleanings including fuel gas, instrument air, cooling water etc, emphasizing on steam lines and cleaning of turbine steam lines. 6 – start-up of pumps, cold service pumps, turbines, compressors, process furnaces. 7 – How to conduct “proving trial”.
