Objectives of the Course
The concept of stem cell has become an important issue and lots of progress has been made in this field lately. This class, which focuses on this popular subject, aims to teach the definition of stem cell, its technology and clinical treatments via stem cells.

Definitions of stem cells. Types of stem cells. Embrionic stem cells. Cordon blood as stem cell source. Adult and haematopoetic stem cells. Mesenchymal stem cells. For Clinical use of stem cells. Clinical stem cell applications. Transplantation of haematopoetic stem cells. Stem cell applications on cardiovascular diseases. Clinical tissue engineering. Clinical usability of mesenchymal stem cells. Stem cell therapy of Kidney, pancreas and other gastrointestinal organ diseases.
