Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is; To focus on tourism's need for the natural environment, its use and mutual relations, to address the positive and negative effects of tourism, to clarify the carrying capacity and sustainability issues.

5Understanding that successful environmentally oriented tourism projects and campaigns can create positive effects on the environment.

* The importance of "natural environment" as a recreational and touristic resource * The importance of tourism for the natural environment (tourism-environment interaction and its positive effects) * Concepts that integrate with the natural environment in tourism (sustainability, natural heritage, potential, environmental protection, etc.) * Determining the natural environment and touristic transport capacity * Types of tourism using the natural environment and their environmental effects * Environmentally sized tourism projects, campaigns, NGOs, awards etc.
