Bizans uygarlığında 4.-15. yüzyıllar sürecinde üretilmiş Terrakota kandiller, sırlı ve sırsız seramikler eserler ile mühürlerin üslupsal karakterinden hareketle; ikonografik ve kronolojik çözümle beceresi kazanma, teknik bilgileri tanıma, mesleki terminolojiyi kullanabilme amaçlanır.

Bizans uygarlığında ekonomik, sosyal, dinsel, estetik, işlevsel değerlerle üretilerek kullanılmış terrakota kandil, sırlı ve sırsız seramik ile mühürlere ilişkin erken-orta-geç Bizans örnekleri tanımlanacaktır.
