History
Telecommunication is one of departments of Ege Vocational School. Our department has been founded in 1996.
Qualification Awarded
Graduated students receive associate degree diploma and the title of Telecommunication Technician.

The students who graduated from the departments of electronic and telecommunicaton technologies in vocational and technical high schools.

Profile of The Programme
Telecommunication Technologies department offers a carefully designed curriculim covering basic electronics and all basic telecommunication technologies. The currculim is designed to help students begin to prepare for carrier opportunities in various telecommunication fields.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates generally work as installer, tester and system developers of telecommunication systems. They maintain and administrate of telecommunication networks.
Access to Further Studies
Students can continue their education in bachelor's degree programs in related to Electric, Electronics and Telecommunications when theypass External Transfer Exam (DGS).
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Depending on the course necessities, oral and/or written tests, projects and/or presentations, are noted and evaluated in 4Credits System.
Graduation Requirements
Graduation can be accomplished when all of the courses (for a total of 120 ECTS) and internship were sucesfully completed.

1Acquiring skills to use knowledges of basic sciences and electronics to telecommunication technologies.
2Having skills to solve problems with telecommunication technologies after that having been learned basic laws and principles of electric and electronics.
3Able to understand and use an electronic communication system and softwares which are loaded in control modules of communication systems.
4Acquiring skills to use techniques and tools needed for technical applications.
5To be able to understand the importance of team work and to do tasks.
6To be able to prepare presentation, lab reports, project using research methods.
7To be able to have disciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork and professional ethical values.
8To be able to use initiative, creativity and have independent act.
9To be able to gain the importance of lifelong learning by observing contemporary issues and developments in science and technology.
